Buick Le Sabre wiper arm removal Sign In

Hi guys,

My latest post is in regard to a 1995 Buick Le Sabre in which I'm attempting to remove the wiper arm assemly from the car to do some cleaning. There is a tiny "L" shaped metal tab where the wiper assembly attaches to the actuator post. I can't tell if I'm supposed to push this in or what. I've tried, but I don't want to break anything. This sounds so simplistic, but it's causing me trouble. Does the thing just pry off? Also, please feel free to tell me if I'm postijng this question in the right category. Thanks to all of you!!!!

I think your referring to the lock tab that locks the arm on the spline.Lift the are up off the windshield and slide that tab sideways and it will lock the arm up and then you just wiggle it off the post.

i find it helpful to use a little screwdriver to give you a little extra leverage on the tab. to slide it out since its so tiny. just be carefull you dont slip and scratch your paint.

Thanks guys. I'll do what you say. I feel silly asking such a simple question, but I didn't want to break anything. Thanks again.
