Car does not accelerate above 10mph...

Hello, My VW Polo 1.2l car does not accelerate above 10mph after running at a low speed... I have had similar issues before, when I have had to have coil sticks replaced. The car will not rev above 2000 at any time. This one is a bit different - the car will drive at fast speeds for an hour, but wait at the traffic lights for 30 seconds and it starts juddering and then won't get above the 10mph mark. Someone plugged their machine in and said there was an issue with number 2. They changed spark plugs, this seemed to make things better for a few days. Coil pack then changed, didn't make any difference. What next? Thank you in advance for any help! James

You need to post the exact code numbers being stored. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Hello. Unfortunately I do not have the codes. The spark plugs were changed by mechanic (did service at same time). I then replaced coil stick (ended up going through all three to see if made any difference). Just wondering if there is anything else I can try? I can't really afford another mechanic call-out! Cheers James

Just a note and out of this thread. Many if not most VW and others really need exact OE parts ignition anything high on the list. If item fight with each other they could harm each other. Post codes as Hammer said for a chance of where to check for why it's doing this, T
