Car smells like gas really bad

Ok I have replaced pretty much everything on this car and just this week i had all new plugs and wires as well as a new feul regulator put in. It is running great except now it smells like gas super bad. I have to drive with the windows down or i think i would get gassed and pass out.  Thanks for any help!

If you are smelling raw fuel, you have a leak somewhere. Inspect all the fuel lines, the fuel rail, and around the fuel tank.

Ok i cant get my car checked out til tomorrow, and now it takes a while to start up,,like its not getting gas initially but then it starts and runs fine...still smells super bad like gas.

Tracy, you really shouldn't drive or run the engine any more until the source of the leak is found and repaired. The last thing you need is to have your vehicle catch on fire. The gas fumes are extremely flammable and it wouldn't take much to ignite.

Well it ended up being a defective fuel regulator that i just had installed, it was shooting gas out the bottom, replaced it and now it runs perfect Thank you for your input.
