Clicking sound when in start...

Chevy bladzer 2000, v6 engine103K miles...When trying to start it's a clicking sound... battery is working... just brought one thinking that was the problem...Clicking sound when put in start position battery is on and working( radio, lights,etc......Got any info??? Does it sound likes the starter? or alt.

Sounds like the starter. Try to wack it a couple of times while some one else tries to start it. Not real hard, it won't take to much force. If it starts then replace.
