i have an 06 Chevy Cobalt and every morning on my way to work my ABS light comes on, i can no longer accelerate, it tells me on my info bar 'service airbags' and 'power steering'. i then have to pull over and turn it off, when i try to turn it back on my anti-theft light comes on and prevents me from turning it on for a good 10 minutes. thank you very much for any responses. :)

I'm not sure of your mechanical background but there really isn't a whole lot of DIY fixes for this one...
What you could do would be to have the battery test to make sure there isn't any problems.... I seen bad batteries cause some very strange electrical problems before, ones you would've never guessed a simple bad battery would have caused.
Once your positive you've got a good battery with clean connections the only thing left would be to find a shop qualified to diagnose this problem and let them take a look at it.....
