Hey all. I recently purchased a 1995 mustang, and so far love it! However i was taking a look at the gas tank this evening and noticed what I believe to be 4 cuts in the gas tank. There is some gasoline around them, and it drips minorly, although it still seems to hold gas quite well. From the pictures inculded below, can anyone tell me if a gasoline repair kit will fix this? Thanks [:)

Those pics are pretty blurry so it really hard to tell or it could be cuz I'm drunk but the by the 1st pic, that looks like the tank shield ane those do have vents in them so if any water gets in it can drain out.

If you are sure there is fuel & not water coming out of those, it needs to be fixed asap. No fuel leak is unimportant. Small ones have a way of turning into big ones.....quick. There is a lot of pressure in the supply line so get it checked out.....If for no other reason, think of all the $$$$$ your are wasting if it is a fuel leak....

What you're looking at is a shield around the gas tank but it's still showing a leak and you need to get to the bottom of that ASAP.
