Some factory installed fog lights are a sealed unit and are replaced as a complete assembly, housing and all. If you haven’t yet get the replacement part or at least check with a dealers part department; that may help you in figuring out what you need to do. If it turns out to be just a bulb or a bulb and socket assembly; they usually come out the back; twisting the socket in one direction or the other. One caution; do not touch the glass portion of the actual bulb with your bare hands. These are halogen bulbs that run very hot; the oils from your shin will create a hot spot on the bulb and it will burn out fairy quickly, if not right away like a camera’s flash bulb. Dan.
