Hi everyone, New to this, but i have just brought 1980 kp60 starlet with a 4age fully reconditioned. Have done a leak down and compression test on it and it passed with flying colours. Problem is it blows blue smoke like a mofo. Local Garage puts it down to either a faulty or wrong ecu, whats your opinion? having a faulty or wrong ecu would that make it blow blue smoke? also if so would it be better to spend $500 on a megasquirt, or just by a standard 4age one? Bearing in mind it has racing cam, adjustable cam gears, extractors etc. Any help would be great. Thanks! Ethan

Blue smoke = engine oil near always. If lower end is known ok then it could be sucking in oil thru the valves or maybe a real bad PCV system or even a head gasket that didn't work out, T
