2003 Ford Focus - Z-Tec 2.0 Engine - 5-Speed Manual - This all started a few weeks ago when the ignition "locked" & would not budge! Had it replaced by a locksmith... The car ran great for maybe a week, then one day on the way home it lost ALL power & we barely sputtered back the last mile! We then replaced the OEM battery & had the alternator checked (it was fine...) It ran great for 14 miles & then the same exact thing happened again! ALL power lost & we barely made it home! The instrument panel goes COMPLETELY dead... The next day, I couldn't even jump-start it... The day after that, the radio wouldn't even turn on (ALL power had dissipated!)... This is the most unreliable vehicle I've ever had, & I've had a lot of 'em (I ain't no spring chicken anymore...)! ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated...

Well you probably want to start off with charging the battery up & test it.....just cuz it's new doesn't mean it's good. After that checks out, check out the charging system and make sure it's charging........
