I have a 99 Ford F150. My key cylinder messed up and I had to replace it. Now my truck is showing a theft light and will not do anything. Is there anything I can do?

Did you have thenew key cylinder keyed to the old keys> If not, you need to have a factory scan tool to program the new key. Take the cylinder back out and have a locksmith key it to your old key.
Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
