So, uh, got myself in a bit deeper than i though i could handle. I've got a 2000 pontiac grand am with a 3.4 litre engine, and i'm in the process of replaceing the head gasket. Got the top intake manifold off, just can't figure out how to pull the fuel rail off, so i can get to the bottom one. Oh, and how do i tell what side to replace, or should i just do em both?

Agree with Tom. It is always best to do both if you are down that far.

Also be careful, these head bolts have a bad rep. for breaking off flush with the block.
