2008 Jeep Commander v8 4.7 I’m currently trying to change the spark plugs in my jeep, it says to use a 5/8 spark plug socket to change the spark plugs on my jeep but for some reason that socket fits my spark plug but it doesn’t fit inside the cylinder head if where I’m trying to take out my spark plug. I don’t know what to do I tried using 5/8 and 9/16th sockets.:. The 9/16ths fits in the hole but doesn’t seat on the spark plug so I’m not sure what to do at this point any help would be appreciated!

Yes, you need a thin wall socket for plugs. Also make sure a piece of the boot isn't still in there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
