Header gaskets Sign In

I have a 72 chevelle with a 350 that I believe is original. It has aftermarket headers and I need to replace the header gaskets. Is there a way to find out if I have round or square ports without removing the headers first. I want to buy the gaskets but I want to make sure I get the right ones.

Any decent parts wholesaler should be able to advise you on the parts required - either by registration or by the engine number.

To add to guest; Use Mr. Gasket brand gaskets. They seem to work the best. Use a straight-edge to check for warpage while you have the headers off.
