Re: Headlight R&R Sign In

Love your name! LOL. Most headlamp bulbs are accessable once you open the hood and look directly behind the headlamp. There will be a large (about 3" diameter) ring that you'll turn counter-clockwise to remove the bulb. The bulb, ring, and wiring connector will come out by pulling backward. Might be easier to disconnect the wiring first, just depends on the application. When installing the new bulb, be careful not to touch the new bulb with your fingers.
Sometimes, the boneheads that design these cars, will make you remove a battery or a coolant recovery bottle to gain access, but not much we can do about that.Unsure

Re: Headlight R&R Sign In

Thanks Loren, I should have been more specific.. was replacing the headlight assembly... Took the Jeep to a couple of friends at work. One had some experience with this application... removed the obvious screws plus the grille, then lifted up on the bottom edge until the ass'y 'popped' loose, then pulled forward for some more 'popping loose' which freed the ass'y from the 3 plastic grabbers/grommets. Thanks again for your help.
