Help Sign In

I replaced a front left brake hose and know the pedal goes to the floor and makes the van idle rough. It is a 94 gmc safari. I did bleed the system and there is no fluid coming from the front left. I even disconnected the new hose and still no fluid. Help!!!

Re: Help Sign In

When you replaced the hose, did all the fluid run out ? You might have got air all thru the system now...if thats the case you will need to bleed all the brakes, never let the resivoir run empty...keep adding fluid a little at a time.

Re: Help Sign In

Thank you very much. I just got the van from a guy that drove it with a hole in the hose. So yes, everything does make sense now. I just did not think that much air could have gotten in. I will try this and let you know what happens.
