Hi, I am having issues with my 2015 honda civic. The first issue is that the car will jerk at seemingly random times. More of the jerks happen earlier on in the acceleration. If I put the car in econ mode the jerks happen way less. The second issue is that the car could be at a stop and as soon as I start accelerating the car engine shuts off and I have to put it in park and start it up again. There are no check engine lights.

Those are one issue not two IMO. Needs a high end scan tool a Honda (anything really) that model year will have a code in wait. Need to go get it read since it's seemingly intermittent just have to rely on the code for direction. Related is if you are up to date on all maintenance? Basics if new that year vs model year is the battery that old too? It need to go if so they don't usually last that long nor does neglecting cable connections. Not just at the battery but other ends too. Cars rely on dang 12V steadily actually only when cranking should it be below 12v then running 13 to no more than 15V it's regulated to stay there just FYI, T

Check it carefully for vacuum leaks ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Battery is 1 month old. Where can I go to get the car scanned with a high end scan tool?

Ditto, Just beware of the * rating system is corrupted of course. You should be able to ask for 1/2 hr just labor or some diagnosis time to include the pro versions of code readers then the interpretation of what it means to a pro. Perhaps a printout of what is thought by results found, T
