I am having a problem with my Isuzu Ascender V8 5.7 with roughly 92000 miles. I tried turning it on and no lights or anything won't come on at all. Then I tried to pull the key out and it wouldnt give it back to me no matter how hard i tried. I had a spare so i was able to lock up my car but it wont budge at all and I dont know whats wrong. I think it could be the battery but can I jump it with the stupid key stuck in the ignition? also would a 4 cylinder sedan 2005 be able to jump it? Put you answers plainly please I'm not good with cars, obviously lol

Before you even jump it and any vehicle 12v system would do you may wait longer that's really all. Test the battery for voltage now and move tester to clamps if direct bat voltage is ok. May not be connecting. Charge battery with a charger is much better than jumping it if at all possible. If the battery totally shorted out your charger would object vs possible problems trying to jump a shorted battery to the donor car. Don't have a clue why key won't come out. There may be some fool safety feature that if power isn't available that it locks it in?? T
