Misfire code P0302

There is a [P0302], [P0620] and [P2096] code on my 2010 hyundai accent (227 000 km). The car is running like usual. Idle is around 700 rpm and there is no significant lack of power. A bit noisy at idle but I can't say if its different than it was before the codes. The spark plugs are recents and I switched the coils to see if the code would change from cylinder 2 to 1. Nothing changed. My battery is almost 9 years old but still does the job. Could a bad battery cause the misfire code and the [P2096]?? Thanks

The P2096 is low voltage from the downstream 0/2, probably a bad sensor. The P0620 doesn't apply to your vehicle so that is likely a compatibility issue with the code reader. The only code to tackle is the misfire code. There are many possible causes and it's going to require some knowledgeable troubleshooting to find the cause. Possible causes bad plug bad coil bad injector Coil wiring injector wiring vacuum leak low compression for any number of reasons. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
