I was told that I can put in a more modern independent front suspension in my 1987 Silverado 4x4 from something like a 2007, but the guy that told me did not know what year would bolt in if any. Does any one know which year will bolt in or if there is a kit that someone sells? I am rebuilding truck and would like to put a modern independent suspension it so it handles better plus that should give it more ground clearance in the front as well. Thanks for any help.

You can put anything into anything . If you have really ,really deep pockets . In this case there just to much against you. Frames different . eng position/oil pan wrong, Steering , axle control , gear ratio .wheel track, shocks ,drive shaft ,etc, etc. Buy a '07 and put '87 body on it. LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH
