2003 Mitsubishi Galant ES 4 Cyl 2.40L My fuel door recently fell off my car, the part that snaps onto the frame broke on the fuel door, I tried using a zip tie but since theres nothing to loop around on the fuel door itself it won't work... Is there a somewhat cheaper method I could try, like maybe tape or Velcro or something... I see used ones online but they cost $40 which is pretty expensive for a 15 year old car... any help would be appreciated...

Well that would definitely hold the door on....If it works on funny cars at 200+ mph right?... On a side note....If that was my car,,, I'd be f**ing pissed.....That had to of screwed up the paint.... I'm not sure what exact part fell off your Mits... My step son had an 01 the door fell off..... The spot welds broke and the whole assembly fell off..... I had to tack it back on with a wire feed..... There was no other way to attach it..... I thought about drilling holes and bolts....but welding it was much easier... There is a fuel neck there so if you are going to do this..... I would definitely suggest removing the neck
