I heavy a 1999 Chevy Lumina 3.1 engine and the red oil light keeps blinking on and off after a while of driving it first happened last Wednesday so I came straight home the next day it was off so I got a oil change on Thursday it stayed off until Monday night oil is full so I was wondering if it could be the oil pressure sensor or the oil pump.

! It's telling you oil pressure below safe even if in error so you have to know the real oil pressure taken mechanically off the engine itself to know. Plenty of reasons: Low oil, oil can't pick up in sump, oil pump, worn engine, sludged engine, wrong oil, bad sender switch, problem with warning light to name some. If real it really can destroy the engine! The blinking and that it quit for a while after an oil change suggests that it's probably a credible warning but you need to know for sure, fix or pick a plan if plain worn to excess what to do, T
