Overcharged Battery

Hi, I have a deep cycle battery that was put on a tickle charger that is supposed to cut off when done charging, but I have a felling that it overcharged my battery, The fluid in the battery was bubbling farley good in two of the cells and the battery had a warm touch to it, Does this mean it is overcharged? If so how can I bring my battery back down to a normal charge without damaging it?

1stly, you shouldnt charge a deep cycle battery with a trickle charger. They need a bigger duty charger for the application. Also, when the battery is charging the fluid will bubble in the cells and the battery will get warm as there is current flowing to it. Your battery should be fine. ~~THIS POST HAS BEEN REVISED AFTER I HAD DONE SOME RESEARCH ON THE TOPIC~~
