I have a 2006 Hyundai Elantra (manual) with about 7300 miles. 3 times in the last 2 weeks, I've had a glowing red hot rotor on the driver's rear side. It's been into the dealership's garage twice and they don't have any answers for me because they can't duplicate the problem (even though it was read hot when I drove it in - returning immediately after I just picked it up and was told nothing was wrong). Each time this happens, I have about an inch of play from my parking brake lever. Any suggestions would be apprecited. Thanks

You can try moving the parking brake cable around on the left side and release it that way. Or the caliper itself may be hanging up. If the cable releases then you should have it replaced and have the rear brakes checked as well. Steve
