Need help...I have a 1994 Chrysler LeBaron Conv. with the 3.0 V6 and approx. 114,000 miles on her. I have this brownish clay looking material in the radiator and do not understand what is making this substance. I had the radiator replaced approx. 6-8 months ago and they flushed the engine and had told me that the engine had some rust in it, but didn't explain if this had anything to do with it or not. I don't really understand how it could make this material, but I need toknow what to do to fix it and make it so this does not come back again. Thanks!

With cooling systems if they get real bad and a lot of rust & sludge accumulates its hard to get it all out. You may have to flush it multiple times and unfortunately it will never get back to the condition it was before it got bad......... This doesn't mean the vehicle is shot, you just have to stay on top of it or it can get that way again.
