Ranger Sign In

I have a 97 Ford Ranger 2WD 2.3L and when driving at very low speeds, letting the truck idle and not push down gas pedal it revs up and down like its going to stall, seems like its not getting enough gas or something, never stalled out on me yet. Could it be the Idle Air Control valve going out or something of the sort?

Re: Ranger Sign In

I would clean the IAC first to see if it helps any. Since it runs OK after a few minutes, the IAC is a very likely suspect.
