Rear Brakes Binding

I have a Renault Laguna 2003 1.9 TDI 120,000 miles I have replaced the rear brake pads but on the rear offside wheel the brakes are not released when the hand brake has been released fully, the cable to the caliper is free (Not under tension). I have bleed the hydrolic system and the handbrake and foot brake are working, but there is still friction on disc when brakes released. The Brake Caliper is free, ie sliding back and forth freely. I can only assume the piston is sticking. Do I need a new caliper or can it be repaired?

1st thing to do would be to make sure the slides for the caliper and where the pads ride are free and moving easily. If all is clean & free and cables aren't bound up then you are probably looking at a sticking caliper which would need to be rebuilt or replaced depending on your skill level.
