Hi I own a 1969 Nova and just had problems with her starting. When i turn the key to start it, it makes one loud tick and everytime I turn the key it makes that tick sound. I thought it was the starter (which was only a few months old but whatever) and replaced it. This still didn't work so I replaced the battery leaving the new starter in and the car started right up. I drove the car around for about 20 min. thinking well ok problem solved. When I parked the car and went back out to start it up again it made the tick noise. As if i had never replaced the battery nor starter but at the same time I just drove the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How is this humanly possible please help me?

Sounds like you have a poor connection at one of the battery cables. I would remove all of them and wire brush them clean.
