Hello,

I had to replace all 20 lug nuts on my 2014 Ford Focus. The way I did it is that I removed one of the old lug nuts and immediately replaced it with a new one. I did it this way, one at a time, for all 20 of them, in a circular pattern. I know they talk of tightening lug nuts in the star pattern, but I did not remove all five at one time nor did the tire ever come off of the car. So my question is: is the way that I did it acceptable and safe?

Thanks for any informed insight anyone may have.

Yeah, you're fine as long as you got them tight enough.
