Saturn Ion E Brake

I recently took my Ion through the car wash, and then parked it in my heated underground parking lot, put the e brake on before I left it. The next day, I released the brake to go, and the car would barely move forward, and not at all in reverse. It seemed the ebrake was stuck. I moved it slowly around the parkade, and it was squealling. I hit a bump and all of a sudden it released. But now, it is making a thump thump....thump thump...as the wheeel turns. Any suggestions? Thanks

It sounds like the e-brake may partially still be on. Sometimes if you wiggle the e-brake cables it forces the brake to fully release. Steve
