I have a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe 5.3 4x4 Traction control light is on and the check engine light is flashing. On the info panel, it says service traction control and service stable track. It is barely idling. Ive already done a tune-up and Im about to clean the throttle body. Any other ideas?

It's warning your hard (flashing CEL) to quit driving this and get codes read before you harm it. Post the #s we'll see what's next to do. BTW - what was done in a so called "tune-up" and did any of this begin with doing that? T

Is that the only code that was in there? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I doubt that is actually true. I suspect a better grade of scan tool would find more in there. What are the long term fuel trim readings? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
