Should I just replace the ACG S 15 amp fuse or the starter? Sign In

Hello:
I have a question.
My 2005 Honda CRV won't start or crank but the battery is good.
Picture one :When I do a first turn of the key, only the green key light was on and flashing.

Picture two: When I turn the key all the way, all lights up but no crank no start.

Should I just replace the ACG S 15 amp fuse or the starter?

Thank you.

Basics: Key is or seems correct. Next the pic is showing "bulb" check mode at least is working. It's just not "triggering" the starter.
If there's a fuse for the trigger wire, sure, replace it or test it both sides with key turned to starter position SEE it isn't good.
Next if no luck go to starter and look for the trigger wire see if it lights up a test light - with a helper is handy firmly holding brake, parking brake on and don't allow it to take off on you if it does start and is in gear.
Also, if this car doesn't crank and you really are sure battery (and all connections) is good there a neutral safety switch or if standard shift switched to it can't crank if not in neutral or park. Standard shifts may want clutch to floor and or a maybe shifter in a certain gear or none,

Thank you so much for your quick response.
I did tried to changed the automatic transmission to netural and drive to starting the car but still no crank no start.
I will try to follow your advise to troubleshoot the issue.

So far a plain test light should show YES or NO power gets thru to starter.
OR: Go to starter and see if it does but just doesn't make it work.
You did what I would do first it might be off and start in gear now is why I really want you to be careful it doesn't take off on you.
If test show power makes it to starter but doesn't react it's time to blame it's solenoid which throws the small gear to engage flexplates or flywheels and turn engine.
If not those connections must be known good as well.
Some of the starter's solenoids just lose lube and can't move or throw out the small gear the common remedy would be a new starter that can be tested off car by you or many parts stores do it for you.
I say that as you hear NOTHING many other fault there's some other noises also this is ZERO reaction so follow the power from key or backwards from starter if not found where it cuts out,

If that green "key" light is flashing when you try to start the car, that's an indication of a problem with the key. If you have another key, try that.
