Hey there, I come across this forum while I was looking for help with my problem.
I've just purchased myself a V Reg, Renault Clio 1.2. Everything was fine about the car I though until on the way home I noticed that the steering column was moving up and down.
Now being a previous Clio owner I knew that you could adjust it to suit you needs, so I didn't think I had a problem, once home I tried to lock it in place and noticed that the column wouldn't lock.
I was wondering if anyone knows how I could repair this? I'm sure their is a few screws holding the panel in place which could be removed but I don't want to fly straight in to it and damage my steering in any way, shape or form.
Any help would be great.
