Toyota Corolla Tuneup Sign In

Hi,

I am going to do a tune up on my 1994 Corolla wagon in a few days. I will be replacing the cap, rotor, gas filter, wires and plugs. My question is, is there a significant difference in the parts I will use for my tune up? That is, if I get higher priced and higher quality products, will it end up increasing performance more than the lower priced products? It's an old car, but it runs strong, and I don't mind spending a little more to make it run well (and save some money on gas.) If it does make a difference, what parts would you recommend? Any input you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

Re: Toyota Corolla Tuneup Sign In

as long as your not buying none name brand parts you will be fine.

you dont need to go OEM either. i beleive most places carry "Standard" brand for those igintion parts you mentioned and prob purolator for the filters
