Vibration/shaking while accelerating Sign In

  
98 altima gxe
automatic


I get a vibration when I accelerate. It is more noticeable at lower speeds. I don't think it is the tires, because the vibration goes away if I release the gas pedal or throw it in neutral. Do you think it is transmission related? I was thinking it could be worn transmission or engine mounts.

My guess would be a bad inner C/V joint in one of the axles.

Is there a way to verify it is the cv axle? I just had both axles replaced last year.

If it was removed an experienced tech should be able to tell if it's binding.
