I'm trying to help sell a car my brother bought last year and I ran into some trouble when I tried to find the value on Kelley blue Book.. The paperwork that was signed says "2010 Mazda 3 S Touring 5 Speed" but on KBB that doesn't exist The problem is when we ran the Vin # it comes up a Mazda 3i, and everything about the car is a 3i.. Also we paid $23,000 for it, which I think is the price of the mazda3 S.. What does it mean that the VIN # says the vehicle is a mazda3 i, but the paperwork from the dealership says it's a mazda3 s ??

Think of it this way ....The VIN is cast in stone , cannot be legally altered , and very difficult to even try . Paper work can be simply retyped , altered , or changed with any word program. Does the title match the VIN ? LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH
