I have a 2006 vauxhall corsa 1.2 petrol engine done 50000 miles. On 3 occasions it has made a loud internal beep satisfying 5 seconds. Happens about 5 minutes into each short trip. No hazard lights or change in drive of car. Never heard the tone of this beep before. Any ideas?

This can only be most difficult at best over the web and about anything would be a guess. If predictable what circumstance if anything makes this happen. I dunno - reaching a certain temp? A certain spot if a routine trip?
Can you locate this noise? Engine itself, trans, interior of vehicle - anything?
At best and probably difficult to record, you could try to make a video that we could see and hear it. It probably will take a tech to ride with you if you know it will do it in front of someone to help??
