Where's the dipstick ?

I know this sounds stupid but I'm trying to respond to a friend about where the dipstick is on her 2005 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2 L. engine. I've been searching everywhere for an engine illustration but I can't find one. There is a dipstick near the front of the engine painted orange but she thinks that is the transmission dipstick and she doesn't see any other dipsticks. Yes I know I'm probably one but can anyone tell me where the oil dipstick is on this engine ? Thanks a lot !

There is some attempt out there to color code items for different fluids. Engine oil would be yellow or sometimes a black knob nicely hidden to make you feel stupid. The orange one is probably more of a red and is probably for the automatic transmission. If you have the owner's manual it may show a diagram for this stuff. Trans dipsticks are frequently the place you also add fluid so the tube would be perhaps dime size. Oil should be more pencil size but not always.
I wish I could just say I knew exactly where but just keep looking for a plug, ring, or knob that aims for the engine's oil pan and not the transmission then it will be clear. I've had a few I had to hunt for so it's not just you,

The orange one on the front of engine is the oil dipstick. The transmission dipstick< if it has one< will be located on the drivers side or to the rear of car.
