1998 Chrysler Town and Country Lx 152000 miles 3.3L non flex fuel On a recent start up after a period of only 20 minutes no response from the turn of the key. Following actions were taken. New starter.......no change Checked park/nuetral switch, checked by bypass fuseable link....no change Replaced Body/power control module with a salvaged one/numbers matched.......no change. Checked starter relay....no change Am at wits end, seeking therapy from new friends. Help me car doctors. Scrub up and give me a cure. Please don't hold it against me that I own a Chrysler....want to trade and go back to a faithful 4.3 GM vehicle.

Point taken, new battery installed 2 weeks ago, checked it anyway....no change. Had been chauffering wifey and was at last stop. Dropped her off sat waiting, van idling, remembered something I wanted to look for. Parked in a parking spot shot off van normally. No noises, no nothing, thats been the big baffle. No warnings, no nothing, got back in van to leave turned the key and nothing, I MEAN NOTHING. Hence the frustration. Am racking brain for any other symptons. Thanks for the brain prick.

Your just going to have to systematically follow the wiring diagram to determine where your losing it. The relay is triggered by the PCM supplying trigger ground to it. If you find that missing, there are a number of things that would prevent the PCM from energizing the starter like the neutral safety switch or the security system. Here is the wiring diagram ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
