I HATE replacing wiper blades because they are such a pain in the you-know-what. I thought I got lucky this time because on my '95 Bonneville I got some Bosch wipers, discarded the instructions which seemed to come from Mars and figured out how to take off the driver's side and replaced it with a new blade. No problem. The problem now is I can't take the passenger side blade assembly off. It simply will not budge!!! I am lifting the tab as far as it will go but the assembly will not move. I tried to pry it open with a screwdriver but that only worked a little. I am at my wit's end. The old blade's rubber is off the track and I'm afraid I might scratch the windshield with the metal trim so I have to do something. Any suggestions?

If my old brain hasn't failed completely, I think you need to squeeze the lock, not pull it up. It should be the hook type and the lock releases by squeezing. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
