Hello, Year of vehicle: 2004 Make of vehicle: Peugeot Model of vehicle 206 Engine size 2.0 Mileage/Kilometers 90 000 miles Hello, I got an issue with the brakes of my car, went to a Peugeot garage where they discovered all the issues below. The labour cost is 113£/hour. Is it safe to fix only the brakes and find another cheaper garage to fix the shafts? What will you advice? Thanks for your help. http://autoforums.carjunky.com/photos/pic/201YMfRF/839.jpg

Car not sold to the US but doesn't really matter as you posted an estimate to fix up and question on that part. Yikes at the "113£/hour" rate for labour! I can't know how that is calculated such as by the exact time or a time chart per a job? It's seems way to high to me. Can you seek out a better rate which can be a game. Low hours and hidden charges and games can obscure the real costs to do something. Why not just one place for all this? The JPG you posted didn't show to the end just the top part of it in my view? Did the total exceed what you think this whole car is worth? Unless buying new or real close to new with total warranty there can be plenty to do on another car too (used) known or unknown stuff. Only you can decide knowing your own car now vs another unknown if it's time to change out for another. I think you can do a lot better on costs but can't know your specific area's rates for this? T
