another ignition problem

So now my 2005 grand caravans key won't turn. what I noticed is the steering wheel isn't locked. Like it's not in park. if you read my last posts about the intrigue that steering wheel isn't locked either. Could this be done kind of linkage problem and what can I do to fix it?

Damn dude!...what is with you & ign swithes???? Did you PO one the neighbours?????
Start off with the basics......Try another key if you have one..... If you don't (you really should have one) then look real close at the one you have, if it looks real worn you may want to get a spare made......
You could try the old "jiggle & turn" method, this works on worn cylinders.......If it works, then you may just need a new cyl...........I've used a very small shot of PB Blaster penetrating oil in them with some good luck before....Obviously you would only do this on a mechanical cyl & not an laser cut cylinder...
