with cooler weather my 89 chevy van, 350 tbi, starts but will not accelerate until warms up, about 5 minutes. After it warms up still runs a little rough, and when I try to accelerate the check engine light comes on, I get a code 44. I have replaced the oxygen sensor, same trouble. I have replaced plugs cap and rotor. Same Trouble. Sugesstions?

a code 44 is a lean code, it doesn't mean the O2 is bad but the system is running lean. The condition is cause the comp to add more fuel. It would be best if you had a scan tool to see the data stream and maybe pick up what is causing the lean condition. Also check the basics make sure there are no vacuum or exhaust leaks...............
