I have a 96 explorer v8 all wheel drive, and my front driver side cv axel keeps breaking after I repair it. has a new wheel hub also. as soon as i pull out of the driveway i hear it pop.

The axle isn't breaking. It's just not being installed correctly by not being locked into the trans.

What are you repairing on the axle?
