2003 Dodge Ram 1500-Front disc brake rotor appears to be rust welded on.Is there a puller That I can use to free it and remove it.

There is no puller because there is nothing to grab on to. Spray some penetrating oil around the hub area and then use the heaviest hammer that you can find and hit it at the edge of the hub while rotating it. It should pop free.

Except they do absolutely nothing for the problem. The impact is what dislodges it and rubber will never do that.

A rubber mallet? The only thing you will get doing that is a sore arm .Nothing personal but you obviously have never done this particular job . A 5 lb ballpeen is just about right .

lol you are correct to say ive never had to do this. i only said a rubber mallet or dead blow so as not to damage the rotor, then i got to thinking....if its rusted on im not gonna be reusing it....lol one of my many moments i have that are special. Laugh

If you hit it where I said to hit it, then you won't do any damage anyway. Nobody said to hit the brake surface.
