eclipse suspension or brake problem? Sign In

Ive posted before about this problem

Anyways

Clunk in the floorboard on left side when going over bumps and when the trans shifts. Will also do it if i put the car in drive or any moving gear and tap the brakes to make the car jump. Also while driving the car pulls to the left which is the side my problem is on

Ive replaced front and rear motor mounts. I left the others allow because they are still good

Could this be any other the following...
Brake caliper? New brakes were installed a month ago and previous owner said its done it since brakes seem tight by the touch with the car on the ground will they feel different with it raised
Strut? Not sure how to check these

Im trying to diagnose the problem i dont wanna drive my kids somewhere and get stranded

Any clues on what to look for ane how to check would be appreciated

Smile

You really need to check all suspension and steering parts - brakes too. Pulling could be caliper sticking, flex hose won't allow fluid return or other probs,
