The lights dimming a bit when idle drops is unusual for any car really but why the idle drops is. The easiest start to diagnose this is to get a code reading AFTER the new battery has been in and intact for a while as memory may have been lost changing it. Just disconnecting a battery for any reason without a memory saver some vehicles will need a time to "re-learn" and idle can be effected but since it was doing it before the same way the problem still exist by all chance. Go ahead and check air filter, any connections underhood, vacuum leaks, even clean throttle body and get the code(s) as they would be helpful to lead the direction to go, T
