I have a 1994 Ford bronco and am replacinng the fuel pump in the tank I have the tank ready to drop but am having trouble getting the fuel lines disconnected. I bought the diconnecting tool and slid it in place but still couldn't get the lines disconnected. are there any trick to get these lines disconnected at the fittings at the top of the tank?

Spray it with lubricant. When you install the release tool, try to squeeze the lines together as you install the tool. This will allow the tool to release the spring easier. Goos luck. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
