If the green key is flashing, that means the immobilizer has disabled the fuel pump, so the engine won't start.

Do you have another key? If so, see if it will start with the other key. If it doesn't start, then you'll need to take the vehicle to a repair shop that can diagnose the reason the immobilizer is activated.

If the vehicle doesn't start, why would the mechanic say there is nothing wrong with it? LOL

The mechanic should have saw that the immobilizer was active. He would have also tested fuel pressure and realized there wasn't any.

If you get a new key, you need the factory PGM tester to program the new key. The locksmith should understand how to go about programming another key.

If another key doesn't work, then the system has to be troubleshot to figure out where the problem is.
