I have an 87 nissan maxama and the right headlight went out. so I replaced the bulb only to find out that the new bulb didnt work. So I checked the fuse box and the fuse is good. So I turned on the headlights and checked with a volt meter what kind of power I was getting. There are 3 leads going to the head light and 1 of them wasent getting power (like the left side was) So what do you think? Relays? a short? I dont know where to start looking now. Matt

I don't know where you checked for power but there should be power to the inside of the bulb socket and with three wires one should be hot with low beam, one other or two with high beam and one is ground -- in general. So check the socket, wiring swap bulbs or whatever to find this problem, T
