heater control hookups for 1968 camaro Sign In

Helping a friend put his 68 camaro back together, and we can't find where to hookup the cable for the top slide control which is marked fan. Have got the temp, and defrost cables hooked up. Just can't find where the other one goes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

your fan speed switch should be an electrical hook up. you should have some sort of plastic wiring connector for the back of the HVAC controls.

the slide switches for the heat/defrost use metal wire cables in plastic sleeves. they hook up to the back of the HVAC control and the other end to the Heater Core box

There is no fan speed control. There are 3 slides that move cables there is one for temp, one for defrost/heat, and the top one is labeled fan. It's the top one that we can't find where it hooks to. Thanks

well the blower motor is electric so there has to be a switch in there somewhere.
